Magellan2048 ("Company", "we", "us") values the privacy of users of the Bookle app ("Service") and complies with applicable privacy laws.

The Service collects the following information:

2. Information We Do Not Collect

The Service does NOT collect:

• Direct personal identifiers such as name or phone number
• Payment information
• Personal data on your device such as contacts or photos
• Precise location, or any location data stored on our servers

3. Device Permissions

The Service may use the following device permissions:

Each permission is requested separately at the point of use. Declining a permission does not affect any features other than the one that depends on it.

4. How We Use Information

Collected information is used only for the following purposes:

• Providing and operating the Service (reading records, book recommendations, AI book guidance)
• Analyzing per-child reading levels and recommending books
• Providing reading statistics and reports
• Service improvement and analytics
• Sending push notifications (when consented)
• Handling user inquiries and sending replies

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• When required by law
• When necessary to provide the Service

6. Third-Party Services

The Service uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Analytics: App usage statistics (Google Privacy Policy)
• Firebase Cloud Messaging: Push notification delivery
• Firebase Crashlytics: App crash analysis

7. Your Rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

• Edit or delete child profile information (in the Settings screen)
• Delete reading records (in My Library)
• Request account deletion (support@magellan2048.com)
• Delete all data by uninstalling the app

8. Security

We implement the following measures to protect your information:

• Encrypted communications (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure storage of authentication tokens (Keychain)
• Minimal data collection

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is designed for parents and guardians to manage their children's reading activity. Child profile information (nickname, birth month) is entered by the parent or guardian; we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated due to legal or service changes. Changes will be notified through the app.
